As a family-run residential development business based in Beaconsfield, South Buckinghamshire, we have built an enviable reputation on quality, professionalism, considered design, reliable cost and programme delivery. Over the past two decades, HRE has delivered a consistent track record across fluctuating market conditions. Despite the financial crash of 2008/09, Brexit, Covid-19 and ongoing economic uncertainty, the simple reality is that people continue to move and aspire to live in well-designed homes in desirable locations. Identifying commercially viable sites is neither simple nor accidental. Opportunities arise from years of legwork, networking, and demonstrating reliability and integrity. As a result, HRE is often presented with strong opportunities; however, capital may be tied up in ongoing projects, limiting our ability to act quickly. Expanding our investor base will allow us to take advantage of these opportunities in a timely and strategic manner.
Our approach to development and financial appraisal is deliberately conservative. We work with current market comparables, realistic construction costs and appropriate contingency, ensuring that projects remain robust even in challenging market conditions. Capital protection is a core priority: our models are designed so that, in a downside scenario, investors’ capital is protected to the fullest extent possible.

Property development is a demanding and detail-intensive industry – not effortless or glamourised as often portrayed in the media. HRE’s anticipated gross margins are aligned with seasoned investor expectations, and we remain transparent about both the opportunities and the risks.
